Dr. Eunjung Shim

Dr. Shim is a Board Certified periodontist who completed her periodontal training with a Master of Dental Science at the University of Tennessee in conjunction with Memphis VA Hospital. Dr. Shim is experienced in all aspects of periodontal therapy, including extractions, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, dental implant placement and conventional periodontal surgical procedures.

She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Temple University in 2004 and then went on to complete a general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital. She worked as a general dentist for a number of years before she went into her post-graduate training in periodontics. She enjoys taking many continuing education courses to keep up with the latest techniques and to broader her knowledge in the field of periodontics.
